The BAUD is a handheld biofeedback device used as an adjunctive therapeutic intervention. It was cleared by the FDA in 2006 as a Class II device (intermediate risk – similar to CT scanners and infusion pumps; bandages are Class I).
Our brain circuitry can become “stuck” in an inefficient/maladaptive pattern. The BAUD utilizes particular sound frequencies and disruptor frequencies to interfere in the established pattern; allowing the nervous system to recalibrate. This stimulates the brain to shift to a more adaptive
