Neuro-Gen (HPN) is a type of neurofeedback that has shown promise of clinical efficacy in addressing the symptoms associated with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post-Concussive Syndrome, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Depression, “brain fog,” attention deficit disorders.
Neuro-Gen measures and tracks the electrical activity of the brain (brainwaves) and then sends directly back to the brain a feeble, imperceptible signal containing information based on the just preceding brainwave activity. Although the power in this signal is minimal, the brain appears to adjust its functioning based on this feedback. The energy in the movement is estimated to be about 3 p W (picowatts).
