She utilizes Mindfulness Training, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Art Therapy and Collaborative Problem Solving as part of her repertoire. She is also certified in DBT training (mindfulness combined with cognitive behavioral approach) and Theraplay (techniques designed to enhance attachment).
Throughout her years of practice, Catherine has observed an increase in anxiety and difficulty in children and adults with emotional regulation. She has been disappointed in medication effectiveness in treating many people with these diagnoses. Thus, in 2015 she completed an intensive training in Neurofeedback to expand care for her clients. Catherine is currently integrating Neurofeedback into her therapeutic practice.
